Kristin Canders, Vice President of media relations at Grithaus, works on strategically positioning clients to secure press and media coverage. Previously a journalist and TV producer, she brings insightful approaches to media for her clients. For over 20 years, she has worked with numerous industries to help them position themselves for media by making their stories relevant to all audiences, including non-profit, technology, government, security consumer, education (elementary, high school and college level), philanthropy, retail, authors, sports and many more. Now, after finding inspiration in the tech industry, Kristin specializes in mainstream business and tech press, as well as media relations for the adjacent industries the client can contribute to. 

From pitch writing to media training and analyst relations, Kristin thrives off of the collaborative environment Grithaus has established. To enhance her creative workplace, she encourages the welcoming, supportive interactions she is able to have with the innovative, excited and open-minded teams and clients. Kristin’s enthusiasm, coupled with the passions she shares with her teammates, makes every project she works on meaningful. 

Described as loving and fun by her kids, Kristin is always an enthusiastic and supportive member of the Grithaus team. Outside of work, she can be seen happily singing and dancing around her home, downhill skiing, glamping or finding the next best concert. Her passionate, energetic way of approaching all aspects of life makes her admired by everyone she meets.
