422 Media Placements; 9 Pre-Briefings with Top-tier outlets
THE CLIENT
EditShare is a Boston-based technology developer of storage and media management solutions that serve enterprise and professional markets. A Grithaus client for more than a decade, the agency oversaw the company’s global PR program and assisted with its content development, seeing the company grow from a handful of customers to tens of thousands of users and three years of double digit growth leading up to the majority investment made by ParkerGale.
THE PROGRAM
Grithaus was briefed on the details surrounding ParkerGale’s investment in EditShare, and the appointment of the new CEO, Conrad Clemson. The resulting PR project required development of a strategic and tactical launch plan and carefully crafted corporate messaging. Important PR goals that were set for the project included:
Define and drive positive messaging around new EditShare leadership, ParkerGale and its investment;
Establish EditShare as a company primed for next stage growth;
Ensure that earned editorial hit the moment the announcement was issued
Through research and discussions, we defined core messaging which distinguished the uniqueness of the deal and positioned EditShare as a company on the move. This messaging was ultimately leveraged across internal and external communications.
To amplify the news impact at the time of the announcement, the team secured a pre-briefing with the industry’s top analyst, and nine pre-briefings across tech and business media. As EditShare employees were being informed of the investment and Conrad joining the leadership team, positive news stories were simultaneously appearing online.
