THE CLIENT
Elk Audio, a Stockholm, Sweden based music technology developer, came to Grithaus because it needed a much higher public awareness of their new product and service, Elk LIVE, a first of its kind, 5G-enabled zero-latency remote music creation and performance service. While the technology is abstract and relatively difficult to explain, the problem it solves is immediately understandable: musicians, artists, producers and educators from different locations can create, rehearse and perform as if they were in the same room.
THE PROGRAM
Grithaus developed the core product messaging and launch that made the benefits of Elk LIVE immediate and obvious, while explaining enough of the underlying technology to make it credible to skeptical users and reviewers. To further build trust and demonstrate the value of this first-of-its kind technology, the Grithaus team developed an artists beta program, recruiting iconic bands and arts organizations. Grithaus shared how prestigious art organizations like the San Francisco Opera used the technology during the pandemic to coach, rehearse and interact remotely, leveraging this high profile use case to land impactful media coverage. The story, which helped convey the Elk LIVE experience and that music had finally entered the connected world, was told by several high-profile publications, including Fast Company, TechRepublic, San Francisco Chronicle, Reuters and ZDNET’s CXOTalk.
